My Story.

Roots in the Pacific Northwest
I was born and raised in Enumclaw, Washington, spending 19 formative years surrounded by the Pacific Northwest landscape. My first job was in landscaping, where working outdoors instilled a practical work ethic and a deep appreciation for nature early on. Driven by a sharp eye for detail, I graduated in the top 10 of the Enumclaw High School Class of 2021.

Taking the Risk & The Reset
In August 2021, right after graduation, I packed up and moved cross-country to Lima, Ohio, to attend the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) for Automotive-High Performance Technology. My goal was ambitious: to break barriers as the first non-verbal monster truck driver in the industry.

After three months, I recognized that the program wasn’t the right fit, so I made the tough decision to drop out and return home. While that chapter didn’t pan out as planned, it became a defining moment. Stepping out on my own taught me resilience, self-awareness, and the courage to pivot when life calls for a change of direction.

A Decade of Design Evolution
That reset redirected my energy back into visual arts. I began creating posters back in 2015, establishing a distinct, signature style in 2017 that I’ve continuously pushed to the limit year after year. By 2023, I took a deep dive into self-teaching digital software like GIMP, leveling up my technical execution and landing freelance commissions to design hero cards for various monster truck teams along the West Coast.

That commitment lives on through a dedicated project: for every monster truck show I attend, I design a custom event poster featuring a unique themed background and artwork for every single truck on the lineup, constantly testing the boundaries of my established aesthetic.

Where High Octane Meets Organic Design
Throughout every turn, two distinct influences have shaped my creative lens: a lifelong passion for live motorsports and my deep connection to the PNW environment.
On one side, the raw energy, mechanical scale, and dynamic vehicle liveries of high-performance motorsports spark my fascination with bold visual branding. On the other, the natural textures, pine forests, and rugged terrain of the Northwest inspire an appreciation for clean composition, earthy tones, and organic aesthetics. Bridging these two perspectives allows me to move seamlessly between loud, high-impact graphics and subtle, grounded visual systems.

Refining the Craft at NCAD
Today, at 23, I am formally refining that craft as a college student at NCAD (Northwest College of Art + Design). Channeling my self-taught grit, client work, and years of hands-on poster evolution into a rigorous design curriculum, I focus on UX/UI and Graphic Design. Whether I’m wireframing clean, user-centric web interfaces in Figma or crafting vector graphics and layout systems in Adobe Illustrator, my goal remains the same: to merge authentic visual storytelling with seamless, functional execution.
